Keep on going, Dubs. It’s better than the alternative.

I feel bad for Gray. Matt Piper fears it could be really bad.

a break would be better long term as it would heal stronger than ligaments damage repairing themselves is what a surgeon told me 30 yrs ago obviously technology ect has advanced but still probably true

Matt Piper suggested otherwise, interestingly. He said he preferred it to be ligament damage to a break.

Now they’re thinking it might not be as bad as it first seemed.

my infomation, is erm, slightly dated??

Dublin - it all depends on the type of break and type of ligament damage.

I clean, simple fracture in an area that can be pinned or easily healed is loads better than severe ligament tears due to the complicated surgery and rehabilitation. See Matty James for evidence of what can happen there. Soft tissue injuries just screw your up.

However, breaks often damage soft tissue as well so can be just as complicated.

The reality is, you want neither!

Oh, and never ever screw your knee up. You’ve had it.

Part of me thinks that a morphine induced drug overdose is precisely what I need right now, but I don’t want to trivialise this as I’m sure that there was nothing pleasant about the experience. I sincerely hope your health improves or, at least, you are as comfortable as possible.

Keep the match thread’s going Dublin – much appreciated and helps to create interest and debate.
