Watching Wendies

Watching it as I expect West Brom along with Boro to be the main promotion candidates probably alongside us.

I see absolutely nothing that we should be concerned with, they are awful at the back, truly awful.

I also think you didn't see any game the season he was here. He was immense for us.

Gayle, always seems really light weight to me, has nuisance value, doing OK this season but not good enough for the Premier League, probably the Championship is his level, much prefer Roofy to him.

Harrogate, I watch every game. I also saw the whole of last night and he wasn't a shadow. If he was that good, why were we never in for him. Head scratcher to say the least.

Same reason we didn't sign a centre back at all. Bielsa didn't want another one. Happy with the options that he has and wants a small squad.

Lubo goes back further than that surely, people going on about signing him 2016/17 closed season and this year before Bielsa came.

Can't really be bothered with what seems like a fairly pointless argument. Doesn't matter whether we were in for him or not, does it?

It's not working out for him at WBA. Feel bad for him because he came across well when he was here.

I liked Bartley, thought he was immense for us and would have loved us to sign him for the following season.

But for one reason or another that never worked out. He moved on, we moved on.

I'd have had him back this season, i'd have been pleased had we signed him actually, i'd have seen it as a signing showing real intent. But that would have been based on historical perception of the guy I admit and what i'd hope he could do for us this season.

Turns out that he's perhaps not the player he was, which in one sense is sad, as I respected him, but on the other hand it means a competitor doesn't have an immense defender on their hands.

It's a question of whether or not we were in for him, it's a question of was he good enough when he played for us and that is yes, of course he was.

West Brom wanted him there after his loan and the asking price was too much. That's why he never came back last season.

Bartley was the better defender than Pontus when here.

What does it matter about other results? If we are good enough we will get promoted
It matters with a few games to go not millions
Relegation still possible.
Hope that puts you straight.
