Not sure you can regret something that wasn’t possible to do.

We pretty much pushed our luck getting it above 62k as it was

Agree with that Hengy. I know Levy gets pelters from you boys at the moment, but I think he did pretty well to squeeze 62k in the smoke.

Just wish it was gna be that easy for us

We started with the bar too low as 56.2k was never going to be enough. Whereas I'm alot happier that its now over 62k that should of been the starting figure then maybe we would be up to 68/70kish by now. I predict that in 20 years we'll be trying to expand it and thinking we should have built it bigger.

There would no chance getting permission for 68k, absolute dreamland to think we would.

We’ve pushed our luck and we pushed our boundaries on the land to get what we have.

As has already been said on here, there simply isn’t enough space for 80k or whatever. Bearing in mind how close we are to the pitch, something us fans and the club were adamant we wanted, where would these extra 8, 10 or 18,000 seats be? It’s not as simple as just sticking them on the top, so we’d need be building into and ultimately in places of the surrounding roads to cater for this.

I agree that 80k is out of the question but 68k/70k could of been achieved. For a start if Fulhams owner gets Wembley our NFL dreams go down the toilet so we can brick up one of 3 dressing room tunnels. There you go I've got the ball rolling with a few hundred new seats.

You dont HAVE a stadium.

so they say. Back in the 60's we had 65k every home game and also back then 90-95% of fans used public transport.
