Bolton Wanderers v Blackburn Rovers

Derby Day, the first match between the clubs since 2015 thanks to both clubs being relegated in consequitive seasons, thankfully both clubs were promoted first time and here we are the 171st game between the two clubs in a fixture which has been happening since 1881. Currently stands at Bolton 70 wins, Blackburn 62 and 38 draws. Recent history Bolton have won the last 6 games at home v Blackburn. Today Blackburn sit 14th in the table and Bolton 15th both with 15 points separated by 2 goals difference. Team news. Wheater is likely to be back for Wilson in the one change from Tuesday. Alnwick, Taylor and Ameobi remain unavailable through injury. A q and a with uncle Ken at 4pm in the whites hotel, unfortunately I am unable to attend as the match bus does not get in until going up for 5. Live on sky with a 5.30 kick off, you never know ken might get a ht pie and a pint out of me.

Sorry,I think the youth set up is a waste of money .
Cahill & Holding that’s it .
Clough & Hall are no better than league one players by the looks of it.

Benny, Before you say it ,Cahill was from Villa .
That just leaves Holding ,we probably made more on Madine .

I would have thought that at a bargain 30,000,000 plus a host of unpaid debts, we would have had new owners in situ by now.

What's happening Keneth? They ran away before I had the chance to lie to them.

According to a bloke on another forum who has club insiders, (he must get those seen to), the US bidders walked away 6 weeks ago and the Middle East bidder is the bloke Ken had a go at in one of his weekly blog-a-thons.

All this race to buy us shenanigans reminds me of the Boat Race when both teams sank

As you will no doubt have realized, my post was firmly tongue in cheek. I wouldn't be at all surprised if "The Ghost's" post was correct.

We know Ken plays games where finance is concerned. Maybe he hopes that his statement will encourage other possible investors to come in.

Is it time to start getting excited at the thought of Rotherham away in 2 days time.
No I thought not at least Ken has something to look forward to at the end of the month when the iFollow payment is due I hope he gets it before the payroll is run.

Is that the Beano dropping a hint Ken and Prof need to see a psychologists especially given that our last win away at Rotherham was in black & white.
This Mike Glendinning fella at the Beano is very cunning in the way he drops the clues without upsetting Ken while also hinting our players are worried about meeting ex players.

Matchday has come around again Prof P has been refining his experiments during the break which means its time for prayers and finger crossing until the final whistle.
Since our last win away there was in B&W I don't want to see anybody settling for a draw before the kick off or we could start to forget what winning is like.

Whatever the past results at Rotherham, it should be classed as a must-win game. We are slipping down the league. No excuses that we are in a better position than last season, that could well be reversed as the season continues if we don't start winning games..
