Just read that on a thread and TBH it's a question that after all the years I've spent on here deserves a proper answer
I left because the site ceased to be a pleasure and became a chore ......I absolutly love my club and I used to love chatting and having a good chuckle on here , but I guess that after seeing the stomach churning relegation era of the late 70's only to see great times a couple of years later it taught me that nothing in football is actually black and white , there are only shades of grey.........
I really got annoyed by the continuous slaggging off of Harry after all it's only a few months ago that we were in the last 8 of the CL but everybody conveniently forgets that and instead chooses to slate him over press interviews , you forget that it's part of his job to give those interviews and if he didn't everybody would be slating Spurs for not giving out any info....Harry is in his 60's , you wont change him and TBH I wouldn't want too he has his bad points but they are far outweighed by his good ones ..............
The shortsightedness of so many of the guys on here over the transfer window also annoyed the hell out of me as everything we had asked for we had gotten
New Striker.....yep
Keep Modric .....yep
Get rid of Deadwood....yep
Strengthen Midfield....yep
Better Keeper ..........yep
Yet according to some it was a total disaster
Yep I was really upset but I shouldn't have moaned about the Smileys and for that I'll apologise but for nothing else ......

Squid I do not post on here as a regular but your comments have lead me to pop up for a one off.
Back on 606 your articles were always a tonic and you were not one of the most popular posters by chance.
I,m sorry that honestly held opinions are annoying you and while I agree with your points on the transfer window I disagree about the Harry complaints.
Of course he is doing a great job for Spurs and has assembled the best squad we have had in years BUT he does talk too much IMO and often his comments are at odds with himself. I wont go on as it has all been said before. Suffice it to say that forums like this & not need good posters like yourself, don't disappear, use your experience to educate us, it's all about opinions but some are more valuable than others. See you or not.
