Leizpeg, Brown and Griffiths

So it looks likely that Scott Brown will be missing for the next 2 or 3 games which is a blow but as shown in recent weeks we can also move the ball quicker when he’s not in the side. I think we’ll miss him more than most on Sunday but we should still have the quality to come through it.

Griffiths is expected to miss tomorrow but is back on a Sunday so we will have an option up top off the bench.

This brings me to the game tomorrow, quite simply it doesn’t have the same importance as Sunday and the rumours doing the rounds just now for the team line up means Rodgers knows that as well, this is the supposed line up:

Gordon

Gamboa
Boyata
Jozo
Tierney

Eboue
Ntcham
McGregor

Morgan
Edouard
Christie

I have my suspicions about that being the correct line up but I don’t think it will be far off with Brown, Forrest and Griffiths all out.

Ensuring Rogic is fit for Sunday is key.

As previously stated, I’d settle for a 1-0 defeat tomorrow right now to give us a chance in the return game to have the better head to head.

Massive few days coming up though, Sunday is an absolute must win and Hearts are flying right now.

Would Rangers fans be happy if they continued doing well in Europe but kept struggling domestically?

Being 2 points behind Celtic after 9 games having thrown a squad together over the summer is not struggling in my book.

I'd go as far as saying that was a positive start. But yes i'd take the same kind of points deficit while we remain in Europe doing well and be happy with that.

Then pick you's off in the run in if somehow we don't end up in Baku

I think it’s sensible to play down Celtic’s chances away in Europe because even with better players we’ve almost always did poorly. Good to see Rangers getting better but when the season wears on, I think their form will deteriorate and the lack of squad depth and quality will take its toll. 👍

Supposedly Arfield is out and Dorrans is back at the specialist.

Oh well Jack or Halliday to start in midfield. McCrorie doesnt seem to be trusted.
