Has to be viewed as a six pointer at this stage of the season as the championship table does not lie and teams near the bottom tend to stay near the bottom at this stage. Looking at the form table over the last 6 hull are bottom and Bolton 4th bottom, both clubs in a bad decline. Imo Bolton's home record of 2 wins 1 draw 4 defeats is not good enough. 4 defeats especially the no shows v Sheffield and Nottingham is unacceptable for me. Has parky got it in him to change things? Wouldn't mind if he picked an attacking line up or a defensive line up. Seems to me an undecided version between the two and as a result players are now looking short on confidence and ideas. Expecting a tight game today with maybe one goal settling it, then again hull may romp it 3-0. Team news. Jason Lowe banned for one game as picked up 5 bookings, Murphy and otzhumer the two players who could come in. O'Neil and ameobi still out but Buckley is now fit and could come in for wildschut who will surely be dropped. Hopefully olkowski fit enough to replace little so those 3 changes is my guess. Pp may have other weird ideas, after all he ended up with noone playing left back on Wednesday.

PP's, latest offering in the Beano he said. “Do we want a settled team? It’s a fair question, it does take time to find – but I think the lads have adapted well, they have done everything we’ve asked of them.
I suppose that's why we aren't winning games because they have done everything we've asked of them.
He still doesn't know his best team and still hasn't committed to playing a settled team. I suppose that would be difficult if you don't know your best team. Keep trying Phil, you may find it before the season ends.

Whoopee, two places freed up in the sickbay. Ameobi and Ireland now back in training. Not quite match fit but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel for Ameobi. There must still be a question mark with Ireland. Can he step up to the plate or not?

Has anybody got an old copy of the Protect and Survive leaflet which dropped through every letter box some years ago ?
I'm asking not just because we are away at the Villa on the telly tomorrow I just happened to stumble across the Anderson's letters to Father Christmas I think they will be disappointed this year I can't see the man in red swapping his outfit for home and away Bet Fred shirts plus 30m real one pound coins for the tree.

We have Andy Taylor geeing the team up to put in a good shift for PP on Friday. I would expect nothing else but it shouldn't be for PP, it should be for the guys and girls who pay their money and sit in the freezing cold supporting the team every week. It should be a given every single game.

Last season we had 8 points after 15 games - we have 16 from 15 now it's all fine.
Takeovers take time - look at all the other clubs - we're still talking to some interested people but it'll probably take ages to sort.
