VAR IS RETURNING

Video assistant referees are set to be used in the Premier League next season, after clubs agreed in principle to the move.

The Premier League will now make a formal request to the International Football Association Board and Fifa.

2-0 to City at half time, following a 3-1 defeat at Anfield and City don't chase the game in the second half at the Etihad and possibly concede no goals. Even you can work that out but it is gone now. There is no doubt Liverpool deserved it simply by wanting it more.

Liverpool have been awarded the most penalties in the PL era, and are clear of the second team on the list (Chelsea) by 20 spot kicks.

Now, considering Pool have been quite ordinary for a large percentage of the PL era, you would not expect them to be topping the penalties awarded charts. You would expect one of the most successful teams to be top of that list, like Man Utd perhaps.

The fact that Pool are top of that particular list, tells you everything you need to know about how much beneficial refereeing they enjoy.

That`s right, the team that was once gifted 3 penalties at Old Toilet, 2 of them for dives.

I love how you dismiss the VAR article i mentioned as some Pool made propaganda, then when I post the source that confirms there was no bias at all, you ignore it and go off on a mad tangent lol

If it was a close tie you might have a point, but you got thrashed 5-1 ffs

O dear, I see reading isn't your strong point. 3-1 at Anfield and 2-0 at the Etihad is 3-3 and the game is totally different. Chasing the game leaves a team open at the back but perhaps that is beyond you?

The article is about the effect VAR has, which again, you failed to read. VAR sees 2 goals for City against Liverpool and Liverpool chasing the game. That is whole point of the article, read it.

You were thrashed 5-1 and blamed the ref despite your only goal coming from a foul. It's been a long time now, time to get over the mauling. You conceded five goals ffs

The thread is about VAR IF you can read. VAR would have given 3-3 with City having the away goal going into the second half at the Etihad. Liverpool chasing the game almost certainly don't go through. Also worth you looking at what constitutes a tackle.
