Following on from my OP about Celtic's (and football in general) contribution to the Scottish economy, Silver pointed out that many sports receive sizeable sums of tax payer money without giving anything back. Whether that be economically or in the majority of Scotland case, through sporting achievement.
So it's quite clear that we're sh¡te at many sports. There's several reasons for this.. small population, crap diet, genetics (the school of Strachan) etc.
A simple solution would be to create new sports, tailor made to us and our deficiencies.
Any suggestions?
