Bolton Wanderers v Wigan Athletic

Its derby day and i bet everyone is looking forward to it. It's a wet and windy day in Bolton as storm clouds have arrived, fitting in that there has been a storm cloud in the club this week as yet more financial problems under custodian ken as the players haven't been paid. Great preparation for what is a must win game for Bolton with the next 2 fixtures being the top 2 in the league Norwich and leeds. 9 games and just 2 points since the win v derby Bolton are 2nd bottom but level points wise with 3 other teams. Wigan in 15th with 7 more points than Bolton have had a steady start since winning promotion however their away form is poor with 8 defeats and 1 win at stoke. Team news. Josh Megennis faces a late fitness check, but no other new injury concerns. Need a more balanced pick today for me, more goals in the side so at least 1 holding midfielder must go for Vela or otzhumer as you simply cannot win a game with 3 midfield players with just 8 career games between them. Would also like to see doidge for Megennis unless there is a pay per appearance clause, parky may have his own ideas though.

Benny, can can't afford the present manager so who would step into a situation like we have at Bolton?

Kenneth said. “I do not want and cannot afford to end up losing substantial amounts of money in football as Ed (Davies) did and many others like him also have"

Time to go then Kenneth. Pack your bags and leave. I'm sure someone will pick up the mantle. Bye, Bye..

My idea Jimmy Phillips as Head coach with jules as assistant and close links with David Lee running the u23s. That's if parky goes which is unlikely or we go bust which is more likely.

It works Benny by putting the Prof & Co on gardening leave then moving everybody else up a notch on the management ladder. The lowest levels will need to do a bit extra with the tots but it avoids any extra costs.
Job sorted
It's not worth me popping over to read the books and I would never pay anybody anything to read them so I'm out for replacing Ken.
For replacing Ken it's back to the Warburtons Kermit Giant Crumpet stadium idea.

Pp 2nd favourite behind Steve Bruce for the reading job. Could be talking Compo here not gardening gloves.

Ken wouldn't let him go all the compo would be owed to Prof for his bonus times are hard tha knows

Ken has gone utterly mad. You can feel him getting more and more angry as he writes .

Still he's not paid up and the PFA have had to step in again. He must have been trying to pay via his phone.

The Warburtons could afford it but having been bitten once, I don't think that they will be up for it.

Yes, and Ken will be seething. It will not just be the Evening news on his case but the National press will no doubt be writing a couple of paragraphs about the mess.

If PP goes, he won't be missed as if Jimmy and his team take over, they can't be any worse than PP and his sidekick. Bring it on.

We missed out again
Burnley nab Tony Philliskirk as the new head coach of the U18s if we had got in earlier he could have played against Norwich.
