So as I’m sat on the plane waiting for takeoff back to Manchester I thought I’d share my thoughts on today’s game.
First half started relatively brightly, quite a cagey game until we concede a stupid, stupid goal. Rojo and Valencia were shocking and I thought Romero could have done better with the strike from where I was sat. Mata struggled to get in to the game and Lukaku as always anonymous, makes us feel like we have 10 men on the pitch.
Second half improved, calamity jones struck again but we finally injected some pace in the last 20 and created more chances. Didn’t see what the whole clamour for pereira was, neat but didn’t do anything of note.
Average from pogba, I can see why people are frustrated but I can see why he is so innefecfive, we have no runners, no movement for him to play to. 9 balls out of 10 have to be crossfield to create space or into lukaku’s feet which cannons 20 yards off him. I like him, and think that he adds a lot to the team with players like martial and rashford around him.
Mourinho needs to pack his bags, couldn’t even applaud the fans that paid £311 each to watch that shower of chit, no passion, no fight and no appreciation. He doesn’t fit the ethos of Manchester United and needs to pack his bags
A great day out, but shocking performance and I’m genuinely worried about Sunday

We were horrible again yesterday. Time to get rid of Rojo and Jones. Never fit, never match fit and not good enough.
We only played properly from the 86th minute onwards.
