ICTFC 1 DUFC 1

If you didn't have 1-1 down on the predictor for this game then you are a mug. It was the most predictable result of the season.

ICT are very much the draw specialists of the league and, on the day of the draws, this was their 11th draw out of 16 league games this season.

United are a team who can never get over the line in these kind of games, so the draw was inevitable. Although by all accounts we played well and probably deserved the three points.

Conditions were apparently horrendous on the A9 so hopefully all Arabs returned home safely. It just highlights something we often forget about - we need to make that journey twice a season (four if both County and Caley are in the same league) but their fans make it every other week. We give them stick for their paltry crowds away from home but feck making that journey all through winter. I don't blame them for not travelling.

Anyway, as I said it was the day of the draws - every game in the Championship finished level, including the clash at the top between County and Ayr. Probably a good result for us but obviously we haven't capitalised. The next two fixtures are Falkirk at home and Alloa away - two must win games and two very winnable games. Six points is a must.

Away from a game, no movement on the American takeover but we have been assured that there is no link between our Americans and the yanks that have taken over at Dens. Needless to say there is a concern that there is more to this takeover than meets the eye, but we'll wait and see.

Tempted to throw in a wee personal tale after last weeks success but nothing exciting has happened. I had my Christmas night out on Friday but no debauchery ensued. I actually had my car as I was driving back up to Aberdeen afterwards so I slipped away as the drunkenness started to get out of hand. Sorry.

Christmas paid for and beer money left

Well done. Why would you go for Motherwell to win at St Johnstone?

They are bullies, felt it was a game in the balance and they might nick it because of that.

Silver, I think the merger to form Caley alienated a lot of people up there who might have followed them. Plus you get a lot of glory-hunters like Juke up there. Although at least he's been to CP a couple of times.

Meh was hoping to be entertained by the Dundee Utd thread after last Mondays laugh. This one doesn't quite live up to expectation. Rather like Utd I suppose this past few seasons.
