MESUT OZIL MUST BE SOLD!

Or at least not let near a Premier League game ever again.

His contract NEVER should have been extended, let alone with a feckin pay rise. If we just benched him indefinitely now, we would STILL suffer less loss overall than if we keep starting him in PL games.

This league requires DEFENSIVE USE AND COMMITMENT from all 11 players. That's exactly what makes it unique. . Ozil is UTTERLY USELESS DEFENSIVELY. He's even more of a liability making an effort. Because he bottles every challenge at the last. Overall, Ozil is ALWAYS going to cost you more points than he earns you, in the English Premier League.

I don't even need to reach the end of the season to know that Emery's most telling mistake this season, is and will be, starting Ozil over the clutch of games he has.

Ozil has big ego but you can say the same with Pogba, they look good for their country and have both won WC and they’re WC players on other leagues but get found out in PL because the refereeing is sheet.

Surely it's a case of building the team round Ozil and keeping him motivated. Ozil, Lacazette, Torriera and Aubameyang with the right players around them could be brilliant.

Asking Ozil to do the hard running and put in a defensive shift isn't his game, he is a creator and a luxury player. Put a couple of workhorses in midfield to do his running for him.

Don't be stupid. There are players who are devastating going forward who don't do much defensively. Asking ozil or Pogba to work hard defensively, is to take your coupe and using it to haul sand. It can do the job but it's not meant to do it, so you can't complain if it is a poorly done job.

You build a team around Ozil, supply him with fast runners who can get in behind and have a solid base behind him to protect him. Or you sell him.

We started 3 holding midfielders today. Absolutely bizarre to me that Ozil is being singled out.

Regarding the first goal, it should have been a nothing attack. There were countless errors more significant than Ozil not tracking back.

First game I've seriously questioned Emerys tactics. No idea what his thought process was today with both the starting XI and the substitutions.

Yeah, because it makes sense to keep trying to build a team around a player whom is always going to bottle and quit on it. I don't mean hard running back tackling. I mean the tackle in the attacking third to stop counters and steal goals ASPECT OF A CAMs goddam job he's paid to do as basic.

Pogba at least, you know is up for a scrap and just doesn't want to defend but does put he effort in effectively l, when given his preferred role. He will fight for the ball in the attacking 3rd where Ozil doesn't. Before Ozil arrived, we were one of the top teams for doing that. We were doing it well this season again too. Until somebody got back in the side and started bottling 50/50s up top

Ozil is not cut out for the PL. It's as simple as that. How many more points does he need to cost the club before people just accept that. Instead of thinking that we'll miraculously go buy some mythical combination of players, who can compensate enough for him. Did everyone forget, we don't spend money like Man City and ain't got enough of it to burn through, to find that combination of players.

Though we have plenty enough to cut our already vast losses, where he's concerned, feck him off and go get two players who don't need compensating for at all. Building a team around the most broken, in need of replacement part, won't work, no matter how many ways you try it.

I already figured out, there's no base solid enough in football, to put behind OZIL in the Premier League. Just too much effort required over too many games.

Sell him. The longer we try to make it work is the more money we waste. Don't forget the caant is going to want a pay rise again come the end of this season. Keeping him is just madness. Not like we're new to his lazyass crap either.

Not "devastating going forward" anywhere near often enough, to have paid him as much as we have, for as long as we have. Let alone a buttload more for another 3 years of the same 5 great games a season and the rest utter rubbish. The saddest thing about this is that people have screamed for others who've done more for us, and been paid less, to be sold because they supposedly weren't worth it.
