26 December 2012 SOD was sacked after we beat Leeds 4-2 at home and Forest were four points off the playoffs. Most would agree this was a mistake and was the start of the disaster that was Fawaz.
Over six years later we beat Leeds 4-2 at home and are four points off the top six.
Don't make the same mistake again Forest. Karanka must stay!!!!
Do not make the same mistake twice!

It wasn't just the result but the performance shows that the players are playing for him.
It was a blip. All teams have them like Norwich are even having ATM. I just hope sense prevails and they back Karanka. I do think it would calm a lot of nerves if they put a statement out saying they are backing him. This could still be a good season yet and honestly is our best chance of having a good season since those under Billy. Do not whatever you do mess it up now!

Fair play to Murphy, comes in for some flak but sets up two goals and scores a great goal. Also, Osborn was excellent but worried that his muted celebration suggests he isn’t particularly happy.

Can you blame him!? Got so much unwarranted stick from so called Forest fans. I wouldn’t blame him if he looked to move on from Forest. Some of our supporters really saddens me. He has been one of the most consistent performers of recent years. The team would have been far worse off without him over the 150+ appearances he has made.
It is especially sickening when many players have actually cost actual transfer fees and have contributed an ounce of what Osborn has over the years and yet get none of the stick he has had to put up with.

No don’t blame him at all. I really don’t understand the criticism. He’s such a good player at this level. Like others before him, his versatility is his downfall. Other teams in the league would love to have him.

Rumours are that he wants out because of the fans but they could just be that.

It doesn’t look a hard choice, does it? He could go and play somewhere where he is really appreciated. I would have no doubt he would come back to haunt Forest if that were to happen.

That said, he has been a mainstay of the Oftesr team ever since he broke into it. The grass isn’t always greener and if I was him, I would want to really stuff it up the boo boys and make them look like fools. The winning goal in the play off final for the Reds would more than cover that, I think...😁

I don’t know how my phone managed to autocorrect Forest to Oftesr...🤣

Ben's goal was the best of the match; it was his corner kick that dropped nicely onto Murphy's head for the third too. He had a very good game against Derby, so I don't understand all the stick he gets at all.

Home grown players always get more stick. It’s a strange situation. I call it the Scott Gemmill effect. He was in the same situation as Osborn is now. He was a very talented footballer but because he couldn’t charge from one end of the pitch to the other like his dad, he was “no good”. He went on to play for Everton and did well after leaving Forest but I think his development was stymied by the CG boo boys.

Can’t stop watching the goals. Can’t believe Colback got two! What were the odds?
