Big Mistake in getting rid of Ramsey

So it’s confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will join Juventus at the summer of 2019 after signing a five year deal to become the second highest earner in the club after Cristiano GOATnaldo.

My my what an epic balls up that bald caant Ivan Gazidis made of that contract negotiation. I fully respect the current club hierarchy’s decision to pull out of negotiations but they could have restarted the negotiations with a fresh view because we are losing a great player. But the initial cockup by Gazidis is unforgivable. We’re going to have to suffer the consequences of his & Wenger’s fumblings for a good few more years.

Aaron Ramsey is a club LEGEND. I don’t care what your opinion of him is, he literally won us two major trophies, gave us the best years of his career and despite a major injury he was back as an important part of the squad. Frankly the opinions of some sad men on JA606 have no consequences. Some of the biggest clubs in the planet were chasing after Ramsey when he was made available and in the end the behemoth Juventus secured his signature. You think the opinions of alt-right Scots living with their mums while spending their cash on bike saddles like the sad little shiete they really are is better than that of some of the biggest clubs in the world? Not a chance.

I wish Aaron Ramsey the very best of luck but we will miss his presence in the side. He should have been club captain and should have taken his place in our poverty midfield, but instead he’s now going to be playing week in week out with the best players in Serie A and CL while the likes of Xhaka, Elnoncy, Cech, Koshitcuntly, Monreal, Musladi occupy our trash side for years. We should also get rid of Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette because it looks like our plastic fans are more happy with poverty donkeys like Giroud, Xhaka stinking up this side.

Ramsey wouldn’t get close to any of the top teams midfields, he personifies Arsenal as a club really along with lazy jack

At least you haven't fallen into the trap of thinking Liverpool are a top team.
Strange, though, that a top team have signed a player that won't get close to their team.

Ramsey wouldn't get a game for the Liverpool ladies FFS he's useless at best

If Henderson can get a game at liverpool, I'm pretty sure Ramsey would walk into that side.

You are right. Liverpool ladies play in competitions where men are not allowed to play .

I would have much preferred to sell Mikhitaryan and kept Ramsey, but as I think a lot of people have said he is not worth anything like £200k a week - even on a free it seems he has had to scale back his demands at Juventus.

So due to Gazidis’ & Wenger’s negotiating incompetence & his agent’s poor judgement there was no way he could stay without a humiliating climbdown.

We’ll miss him a bit & I’m sorry to see him go, but he’s been bang average for most of this season and struggled to get in the team so it is hardly a disaster.

No, this is not a mistake at all.:
1) Ramsey is highly inconsistent. And has more bad games than good games. A guy that can give you a consistent 6/10 every week is needed. No midfielder in Arsenal frustrates me more with misplaced passes, dithering on the ball, needless pirouettes and skills etc than Ramsey. The 2016/2017 season where he scored his first goal in the last league game against Everton was a real banter season where the caant was just coasting delivering abysmal performances week in, week out.
2) He is too injury prone. Not a lot of long-term injuries these days, but muscular injuries are guaranteed every 2 months or so that he is fit.
3) He has no loyalty to a club that showed him loyalty at his lowest. This is not emphasized enough but I find it highly disappointing that many of our players try to fleece the club. That Ramsey would dare ask for anything like the wages I have heard quoted repulses me. He can fack off.
