Do we see more of the same formation from Puel, more of the same possession patient tactics, more of the same poor performances from those selected (for whatever reason)
OR
Do we see a more attacking grab the game by the scruff of the neck early tactic from Puel, a more balanced formation that plays to the strengths of the players selected, the players standing up to be counted after the abysmal lack of effort last Sunday.
Since appointing their new manager Southampton have tightened their defence and are a better team than under Hughes, so I am expecting a hard game given recent performances on the pitch.
Can we shake the 2 DM formation at home?
Can we bring Vardy into the game more?
Can we pass forward more than sideways?
Can we please NOT concede first just for once?
Let’s hope we are all eating Nev humble pie by Saturday evening after we absolutely thrash Southampton 1-0 😉.
On a slightly different note, over the last 2 seasons many on here have held Everton up to be a club that has a good manager (numerous on here wanted Silva to come to us), their scouting and player purchase is better than ours etc. Well after £250m spent and not in the top half, maybe this explains why success in football isn’t as easy as black and white words on a forum.

Come on Joby. Dunge has quite clearly pointed out in the past how well a back 3 could work therefore releasing Ndidi to be more box to box.
