Typical big club move. Massively low ball the club. That way the player knows you’re interested, to turn their head, player forces through the move meaning the big club pays more but not market value.

I'm actually surprised, well maybe not considering our board, that with the threat of Hazard leaving hanging over us we've not thrown out a little teaser bid of 70-80mil + Willian just to see where the land lays.

Without overthinking it there's not really a better Hazard replacement option than him. Can play effectively in multiple attacking positions and he's a proven PL commodity. If the possibility exists that he moves in the summer we need to be serious players for his signature.
