Below is a Frank Lampard post match quotation specially for 666.
"I'm delighted for Richard Keogh. Everyone at this club knows how important he is, the club means so much to him. He asked to take one. I know he's got quality, he is a man of strength, the sort of man you want to take that"
I hope he appreciates it.

Forsyth always seems like a very pleasant chap, but is a player who hasn't improved at all since signing for us.
He is very "average".
I cant be ar5ed to slate him, but you I wouldn't rush him back either. Malone is far better, has more energy and thrust about his game.
Cole, if he signs, will just be back up. And probably good for younger players to learn from

It was nice what Lampard said about Keogh. Any player would appreciate comments like that from his Manager.
It was also nice to see Keogh grab his 11th goal in 312 appearances for Derby.
Boom
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roy McFarland scored 44 in 434 appearances (just over 10% of games).
Captain Fantastic has scored in 3.5% of his games.
I do admit that the comparison is like that of a thoroughbred v's a donkey.

Richard Keogh is not as good as Roy McFarland was. Well hold the front page. Igor Stimac scored 3 goals in 84 games for Derby. That’s the same goals per game rate as Keogh. Go figure. We have had a gazillion defenders since Roy Mac who weren’t as good as Keogh, yet we choose to compare him to one of the best centre-halves who England has ever seen. Go figure. Peter Crouch was once compared unfavourably to Lionel Messi in terms of his stats for goals and assists. To his credit he Tweeted the facts, along with the line:”Peter Crouch in not as good as Lionel Messi shock news”.
Go figure.

Keogh has put a fair few in his own net and given away penalties. He has been responsible for a number of bad results and unessearry giving away of the ball, poor headers, lack of attacking threat and ball composure.
Having said all that, there is no doubting his commitment and passion.
If we were to get promoted, he would not be at the Club. He is, however, consistently lauded by managers and players who he plays along side.
I will conclude that to compare RK to Roy Mac or Igor Stimac, is, quite embarrassing.

The comparison was not made by me. It’s others who choose to compare him with the greats and to find him wanting, rather than to compare him with many others who have played for Derby and who he has outperformed.

My spelling of unnecessary was as bad as some of Keogh's defending - at times.

Well, I try to see the good in people, so the occasional lapse can be forgiven if the good outweighs the bad.

I do too Vidal. If Tom Lawrence displayed even 20% of the passion Keogh shows, we would all be happier.

He’s out tomorrow. Hamstring injury. Must have been over-exerting himself.

Jeez this is getting so boring, Frank ain’t dropping him anytime soon, leave the moaning to the phone in and there are plenty bores on there.
Like it or not Keogh will be part of the club for many years to come, player or coaching staff.
Sky had the lowlights of the play off final on the other night and I can’t reiterate enough hoilett should have never have been given a chance to crosss the ball in the first place.
And yet one man is blamed, shame on some.
