Just on way home from the game and whilst it was a hugely satisfying result for obvious reasons, all today did was confirm we are going to severely struggle with Llorente as our main striker for the next 6 weeks. He offers no threat upfront whatsoever and a hatrick against Tranmere Rovers was never going to convince me. Ali’s injury which no doubt will be another lengthy lay off means we are missing 60+ goals from this team.
It’s just ridiculous, but we have a chance to rectify it and strengthen this window. Honestly no excuses for Levy not to open his wallet before our season implodes. Great result today, but Spurs have to make some signings ASAP, no excuses anymore. Oh and well done Winksy one of our own!!! Ran into our end celebrating

Actually I think its you that should choose to support another club as all you ever do on here is come on complaining about THFC one way or another.
Even Sandy pointed that out the other day in case you forgot.
We were very grateful when Joe Lewis came in when we were really in a crap position and our prospects were extremely bleak.
Unlike you I dont have a short memory I remember what we were like 15 years ago and now I look around and am damned thankful that Lewis did come in.
But thats the problem with people like you its always want want want more more more more and whinging when you dont get it.
Why should I go and support somebody else when I have no big complaints against our current owner or chairman. You have the problems with it and I daresay woolwich need all the support they can get.

If I had a big criticism of Levy its been his managemtn appointments.
Ok Redknapp at the time was a good move and obviously Poch has done well but Ramos, AVB, Sherwood to name but 3.
Obviously the stadium is the jewel in his crown but he seems to have always made funds available to managers to improve our squad even if some of it was self financed as in the Bale money.
Some of our managers have made some dreadful errors with signings for sure

But I would just point out that I have been a Spurs supporter since the great 1950 club.
And I intend to remain so.
But I would just like to see them win something else before I die.
This was a season when at the beginning we had a good chance of going far in the Champions League.
Had the squad been strengthened before the beginning of the season we might not be in the threadbare position we now are.
We must now hope that some players get back from injury before the Dortmund matches in order to have much of a hope of winning them.
If you are happy with this situation then you are in a better position than I am.
Because I am totally unhappy with our current situation, and I blame the club management for it.

Or should I be realistic and say NOBODY ever wins every single game they play?
