Lukaku Alexis Bailly all start, Rashford Martial on bench

Romero as someone rightly said earlier has no business being number 2. This guy is so good.

we must pay Romero a feck of a wedge for him to be happy playing the odd cup game.

Romero did well, told you not to worry

Seriously, has Romero put a single poor performance in for us?

I honestly cannot remember even one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only one I can remember is away at Swansea in 2015 when DDG seemed to be leaving. I remember that as we'd just landed in Corfu and started the holiday with a loss. The last day was better though as we beat the Scousers 3-1!

Sanchez played well... Still think his legs have gone though

____________

Still think he could do a job in the false 9 role. On paper, our best front 3 would be Martial inside left, Rashford inside right and Sanchez false 9.

In reality, you probably need a selfless, hard worker like Lingard to make the system work

Romero is an excellent number 2. He’s been one most of his career. I think we have the best one and two in the league.

Despite the win, the game only confirmed what most of us already know...Sanchez is still pretty much useless and Lukaku still has the touch of an elephant

But the vision of Iniesta.
