Great talk off the pitch but he has flattered to deceive his entire career, the best bit of business we ever did was selling little Theo...

Always loved Theo at Arsenal. Should never have sold him. In my top 5 Arsenal players of all time.Theo, Theo, Theo.

Wilshere was our player of the year in his first season but he had glass ankles which ruined him. Walcott was a speed merchant with limited ability and football brain.

So how did he score over 100 goals and in two finals then?!. More goals against big teams than any other player at the time he was with us. If you don’t have a football brain. You telling me all 100 goals were instinctive lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The reason is simple, we created more chances than any other team, our midfield was incredible and we were totally dominant in most games, our problems were that we were often weak at the back and our goals to chances/possession ratio was horrible.

We should have won the league on multiple occasions with that midfield but Wenger refused to address these failings.

"best bit of business we ever did was selling little Theo"

----------

Yeah, because it's not like we could do with him to supply PEA and Lacazette from a wing position at all is it? Because Iwobi is so much better than him at doing that?

Simply for it's timing and incoming transfer at the time. Selling Theo gotta be one of the dumbest pieces of business we ever did. I recall many debates on these over the years. One thing was never in dispute, that Walcott and PEA were an ideal match. Theo's pace and service, combining with PEA's pace lethal finishing ability. Almost all calling for PEA's arrival over the years, stated it'd be a great match. Hell I think even Garwood admitted that and he hates Theo.

Both are older/slower now, but still quick enough to outpace most in the league. I wasn't that bothered by Theo being allowed to leave, until I knew PEA was incoming. Having the two at the club (at least until Walcott could be replaced), is just common sense. Especially when there is reason to believe the two in question could well form a devestating attacking partnership. Also the fact letting Theo leave, would mean we had no wingers. Bad business.

lol Wilshere did absolutely nothing at Arsenal. Honestly he had probably 3-4 good performances in an Arsenal shirt. Didn't score no goals and didn't create anything

So why didn’t others score over 100 goals then. Such an uneducated response.

What astonished me was Walcott scored 19 in all competitions in 2016/2017. Last season though didn't start a single league game. Iwobi and Welbeck were ahead of him. That completely baffled me. Theo then had to leave in January as was no longer in Wengers plans. Iwobi is hit and miss and direct score enough goals. Welbeck far too injury prone and his injuries are worse than what we had with Walcott.

I think because Wenger changed formation and went narrow which didn’t suit Theo. I agree tho, il never get why Iwobi and Welbeck were infront of him. Neither have his eye for a goal.

I think Walcott fell out of favour due to his comments after we got reamed 3-0 by palace that one time.

The reason is we had underachieving attacking players like Lazybayor and Bendtner and a crocked Van Persie.

Walcott's goal ratio averaged at only 1 in 4 in a dominant team as Arsenal were - his crossing was poor and he no hold up or defensive capability at all - he was constantly giving the ball away, it was like playing with 10.5 men.

He kept claiming he was coming with a new attitude and for tiny little spells he did OK and one had hope - but then that stopped or he got injured again and he went back to game after game where he was embarrassing s**t.
He was basically a master at flattering to deceive and talking a good game with the press.

Over the long haul he was the lower end of mediocre & finally the penny dropped with Wenger...
