Did I Hear Him Correctly?

Glenn McGrath, saying England are 'deserving' of their number 1 status. WOW, even the stuck up of the stuck up, and the arrogant of arrogant, change!

Though he did say, they are 'Probably deserving' of the number 1 stautus, no, Glenn...THEY ARE DESERVING as the number 1 ranked team in the world.

Anyway, you never know...Come the next Ashes, McGrath might just predict a 5-0 Ashes win for Australia...Once stuck up, always stuck up...just like Ian Chappell!

I remember Ian Chappell saying that Jimmy is on par with Steyn.

Glenn McGrath is so one eyed he could work as a commentator for Channel 9 sports.

At the Melbourne test if you saw it on TV you
should remember one day thousands of spectators wearing pink T-shirts. This was in aid of a charity his wife set up before her premature death.
McGrath was interviewed about this charity and also asked about his habit of predicting a 5-0 whitewash. He said the first time was to irritate and now it's just for fun and people expect it from him.
He came across as a really nice guy and I for one take little notice of predictions from any source, especially those on this site.

Every aspiring cricketer should model Mcgrath's onfield behaviour.

Interviewer
"Glenn, do you think you can win every game"?

McGrath
"Yes, why not"

Headline
McGrath predicts clean sweep.

By the law of averages if you make an infinite number of predictions you're bound to be right occasionally. Glen McGrath was right in 2006-7 which was 25% success. Pretty good.

"Every aspiring cricketer should model Mcgrath's onfield behaviour."

A great bowler and a decent bloke (now he's retired ) But I would hate to see young kids carrying on the way he did on a cricket field. The same goes for a lot of professional cricketers.

Kids have got plenty of time to take things seriously when they get older.

That is if you mean kids by 'aspiring cricketers'

i don't know about stuck up, perhaps endlessly optomistic would be a better description.
