take on him. I must admit I have not been overly impressed, certainly cannot play both Moura and Lamela together, it just don`t work. He came in the last January window, and we were told it was a settling in period last season, and this season would see the best of him. But other than the opening two or three games I have seen nothing that makes me think he will be anything other than a benchwarmer.
He does one or two mazy runs, then vanishes. He never even started at the weekend, and yes I know him and Skipp don`t play in the same position, but all the same if Skipp is starting over you, the alarm bells should be ringing. I mean if he cannot nail down a regular starting place now, he won`t when both Kane and Dele return.
Am I being too harsh, I just don`t see a world beater in Moura, will he come good, if so when?

At the moment, I can see why he didn’t make it at PSG. Looks great but not clinical or quite as good as you hope.
But he’s definitely got talent and pace, if he got a good run of games, I think he’ll do wellđź‘Ť

The things to remember is that our front players have been kicked and jostled unfairly in more than a game this season with the ref always favouring playing on instead of giving us free-kicks etc. With refs being as they are, thinking all's fair when comes to shoving off the ball or kicking our players out of the ground, it's no wonder Lucas struggles sometimes.
Spurs are softies because we don't complain and we don't dish it out.
We also don;t surround the officials like Liverpool do.
Too soft. I played with technical ability and flair. But if I needed to be I could kick the cr*p out too and would give the ref what's it!
We need to be "smarter" like Poch said. Need to be a pain in the backside for officials

Sandy,.... I think Lucas Maura is rather like a bottle of very good Bordeaux wine. Goes thru stages ... drinks well ... then closes down .... ages for a few years .... then come out brilliantly with wonderful aroma (bouquet to you!)
Pochettino is going to pull the cork on Wednesday and see what we've got!
If he doesn't smell well, then its back to the cellar

6/10... talented but inconsistent. The kind of player that looks like a world beater playing for PSG in league 1 where there's no real competition.... in a tough league he's pretty average. Don't see him at Spurs long term. We have plenty of players that need upgrading before him. Prefer him to Lamela but neither are starters. Worth giving him one more season

On and off, but definitely has the ability to be a top player for us. Look what Pochettino has done with the likes of Sissoko. Who’s to say he can’t turn Moura Into monster of a player?
