Liverpool...the media love in, omg

So on a night when Liverpool get "managed" by a aging, but very experienced Bayern side, the media still go into overdrive on how fantastic they are.

This is a team with an horrendous away record in the CL and are, to anyone with a football brain, clearly now less likely to progress than their opponents.

Yet all we hear is:

"Liverpool have every chance of winning in Bayern"
"If I am a Liverpool player or manager, I would be happier"
"Liverpool will put a marker down"
"Liverpool extended their unbeaten home run to 20 games" spin the negative why don't you
"11th clean sheet in those 20 games" again spin the negative.
"It's a good result at home. They haven't conceded" wtf ????
"Not a dream result, but a good one"

Now I am not saying Bayern will defo go through, but statistically it is more likely from a very experienced team, who are still sitting nicely at Europe's top table in the CL.

More annoying is the opposite media reaction to Spurs 3-0 demolition of Germany's supposedly best team, and we get things like "the tie is not over" or "Dortmund had an off day and will come back strong"

So why is this "love in" so ridiculously high, particularly this season, for a team that has not won anything for several years, has a poor CL away record, and may not change that this season.

It would have been nice for at least one pundit to come out a say "advantage to Bayern" or "Liverpool may have missed they chance now"
Headlines that would defo follow Spurs if they had drawn the first leg ( at home ) but, no not Liverpool.

Sorry, but I just don't get it Please someone enlighten me.
