Looking for another new manager to stabilise our club, keep our top players happy, keep the youth coming through as they could be the future of our team, implement tactics that get the best out of the players that we have, connect with the supporters, convince the board that their "plan" will be a fruitful one for LCFC, play the game in a way to bring excitement back to the crowd on game day, instil passion back into our games and maybe just maybe try to play a game without 3 DM's in the starting 11!!!!
Not much to ask is it?
It is now 36 hours since the Palace debacle and 24 hours since CP was politely shown the door, and the way that the sacking has been greeted by media, pundits, supporters tells you everything. "MEH" it was coming so no great surprise.
I think its apparent by the silence coming from the players since yesterday that there was a huge divide in the dressing room and they wont lose any sleep over Puel's parking space being empty this morning.
For his many faults I have to place on record my thanks to CP for 2 things
1) The dignity in which he and the rest of the squad dealt with the aftermath of the Helicopter crash was something that makes football pale into insignificance. I for one will be grateful for his calm and sincere guidance through those dark times.
2) His belief in playing younger players, if you are good enough then you are old enough. He has put his faith in many young players and started what we hope will be a number of flourishing careers for our club.
But that's where it ends, the rest of his tenure looked doomed from the beginning and that yet again has to be laid at the door of the hierarchy. Yet again we find ourselves sold a pup, asked to buy into a plan that will be for the benefit of our club but 18 months into it, it is taken out the back and shot!!!!
How many times can our board get appointments wrong before they have to take a long hard look at themselves? Surely now they have to ask each other how they have got it so wrong again. Will our illustrious DofF be a scapegoat for this turbulent time? Probably not, Teflon Rudkin must have something on the other hierarchy for him still to be in a job.
So how do we move forward as a club now?
Do we get a caretaker in until the end of the season?
Will any manager in employment move now?
If not does that mean that our board will be looking at the unemployed names to come in? I have seen the likes of Allardyce, Redknapp, Wagner etc mentioned........ NOT IN A MONTH OF SUNDAYS!!!!
I would prefer to give the job on a temp basis to BS and Mersey until the end of the season
One thing is for certain, the players now have to step up to the mark. They didn't buy into the CP methods and tactics so now he is gone I am expecting to see a huge reaction.
Over to you lads, lets see if you can show us all what we have been missing against Brighton.

Kasper and Vardy will see out another 4 managers as they have done along with Teflon Stowell.
As a for LCFC CF i was talking to yesterday said Managers have to passy foot around the players or they get the chop as the players have a direct line to the Chairmans these day something that didn't happen in the past

To be honest this decision came from Top alone and no one else. Rob Dorsett was pretty clear that there has been no discussion with the players (unlike the Ranieri sacking) - there was no plan to sack Puel on Saturday morning - they didn’t want to make a change, but the capitulation led to his early dismissal.
That said there are issues with the likes of Vardy and Kasper

TB - If we're looking for an interim manager with a view to getting Rodgers in the summer, we could do worse. Whether Moyes would want to be an interim manager is another matter.

Good post. I’m willing to work without BS to fix this mess.
I’d say we go 4-4-1-1 and good it to Vardy. I know BS will agree with me and back me like a Chelsea goalkeeper would back their manager.
But the reality of the points laid out in your post are true. There is not quick fix to this problem. The best we can hope for is that someone comes in Solskjaer style and get the decent squad we have enjoying football and playing to their potential.
It’s a mess. It needs strong leadership. I hope we get a couple of results to give the board the time to consider the challenge and make the right appointment.
I’m not sure Brendan Rodgers is the answer, but anyone is a risk.
I’d love to get Wagner or Jokanovic on a temp basis to see how they fit with the squad until the end of the season, but I think that wouldn’t suit them. It’s likely we’ll have an old steady head like Allardyce until the summer or stay with Stowell if he can get some early results.

Now't to do with me why would the fire NP for failing at a 2nd Div belguim team and then invite him to manage their prize asset?
It will please the we just want British white middle aged managers but no one else imo
