There were calls for Roofe to be dropped before he was injured. His record this season is 14 goals in 24 games. A few of which he wasn’t played as a number 9.

That’s not a tough fixture set at all. Nobody even in the top 7 there. Yet we only won 3 games out of 9.
Shame injuries have hampered his season, as he was on course to pick up player of the year IMO. Could easily have scored 25+ too. Scored some crucial, match winning goals and has come into his own when played as a 9.
Hope he gets back to fitness soon as we really need him back in the side.

With Bamford in the side the quality of chances created has gone up. So has the amount of sitters he has missed.
He could go on to score over 10 goals in the rest of the season if it starts to click. The other side is he misses 10 more sitters and costs us top 2.
I wouldn’t give up on him

I think we paid maybe £3m too much. Seemed a case of having to sign someone & he was available. I think he’s good mind, really need him to start hitting the net though.
