A return to the good old days?

I'm impressed at the way in which Leeds United, from the very top to the bottom, has galvanised in the wake of Spygate and a spate of indifferent form.

I remember the good old days under Revie where the mantra was Leeds United against the world. Revie created the Leeds United family, a tight knit group of players that believed that they could take on anyone. Even in those days we were accused of cheating, corruption and God knows what else as the Mighty Whites steamrollered their way through England and Europe.

One of the most popular teams about, with a uniquely different set of supporters, but also one of he most hated. The latter just serving to make us stronger. And we were never popular with the authorities....

Fast forward to today.

The football community coming together to condemn a practice that actually didn't break any rules and Bielsa's masterclass showing he was every bit as meticulous as The Don in his preparation but also, actually, sticking two fingers up at his detractors.

We've had a wobble, Norwich City at home and QPR away are two notable examples where the team had gone missing. Even some of our own began to doubt....

Yet here we are, sitting on top of the Championship albeit briefly heading into the final strait in a rich vein of form almost as compelling as the form we were showing at the start of the campaign.

The team is clearly a close knit community, you see it in the celebrations. Contrary to popular expectation the players are still energised, relentless in the attack and solid uncompromising in the defence.

We are united in the true sense in the face of criticism and non-belief. The old hatreds are there but do we care? Our fans are coming together, on and off the pitch we believe we can achieve this.

We excel when we are up against it. Now, more than any time since Revie, apart from the -15 campaign, Leeds United against the world is working and working bloody well.

Makes you proud don't it?

Every aspect of the club is better than it was when Cellino was here. Mistakes have been made, but all outweighed by the positive actions.

So far so good, master stroke of identifying Bielsa & getting him was the catalyst in all this, don't forget that

It’s fabulously isn’t it from top to bottom.

A far cry from a few years when TA was being run into the ground and employees were been sacked left right and centre.

While Beisla has been great, the rest of the staff behind the scenes shouldnt be undervalued either.

You can’t do that by cutting the business to the bone, it never works and a business can’t grow doing it that way

Ah Wakey, you've had your three Weetabix this morning I see! Always good to have your supportive comments mate, not that I've seen many yet!!

It's going well and my article has nothing to do with the previous regime but good of you to raise it. Again. And Again....……

Have a nice day mate. I'm in blustery Cornwall where there seems to be an abundance of Mighty Whites' followers.

Just comparing to previous disastrous owners pal.

For me & above all it’s the sheer entertainment value just watching the team play. It’s taken 15 years & a lot of ST money to finally see good football week in week out.

Club is light years away from previous dark days.

Rubbish. It's one game. I had us down for a draw. QPR and McLaren, pretty obvious we weren't going to have it all our own way. Beat WBA and we are back on track again.

Afridi

Thought we was nailed on, a month ago.

But momentum has gone.

And whilst I know it’s a sin to question the manager. He’s looks clueless how to change it

Things change quickly, I'm amazed at just how quickly!!
