Emiliano Sala - Not good news for Cardiff

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-wales-47626855

Looking increasing possible that the insurance cover on that flight could be deemed invalid if the flight doesn't meet the rules. Complicated situation.
Not Cardiff's fault in any way and if so they will end up suing the agent who arranged the flights.

Not a happy situation.

i wouldnt say its not cardiffs fault in anyway.... they should have sorted him out instead they let him sort himself out on a whim through a mate of a mate at the club?

True enough but the law and insurance companies would disagree.

Oh the insurance companies will use anything they can to get out of paying up. Cardiff should atleast take part responsibility and pay up if thats the case imo.

I thought Cardiff gave Sala the option of getting on a commercial flight?

Obviously this is a bigger issue than a footballer in a crash. Must be a lot of business people use those planes and assume they're covered.
I think the rule is that the pilot has to be going to the destination anyway and it's just cost-sharing.

Not sure mate i only remember the initial articles and an interview with his agent. Im sure the initial reporting had some cardiff player claiming to have text him about having arranged a flight etc. Ah the player was the son of the agent a cardiff plyer

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47013474

Full text convo between em on there. No idra about cardiff offering etc there was no mention initially when i read it and do they have proof or they just cocering their backsides with hearsay. From the initial exchanges there was a few shared flights back n forth between all parties including 2/3 staff inc neil warnock etc so cardiff were involved/aware im sure.
