I would phrase it like this - we voted to leave irrespective of a deal.

Had we approached negotiations with that stance then I believe we’d be out on March 29 with an FTA in place.

they did though and they quickly realised the EU wasn't bending on things they wanted. During the referendum the leave campaign told us that they saw no reason why they couldn't remain in the SM, CU and end freedom of movement at the same time. When negotiations started this was all abandoned suddenly at the behest of the ERG so May could stay in power.

The point is nobody (least of all Johnson et al.) had any idea what Brexit would look like.

It's all a complete farce and I can't wait for the inevitable break up of the UK so I can stop having my future and that of my kids held to ransom by Jacob Rees Mogg and Boris Johnson.

Syria etc aren't situations to laugh at though.

Watching those politicians argue about a load of shiet on TV endlessly is quite funny because it seems like they all try to use the biggest words possible to make it appear as if they know everything.
Bunch of overpaid tosspots all of them if you ask me.
