Midweek games and season expectations

Full midweek card as we enter the final 2 games before the split. Few quite important ones as well.

Rangers v Hearts should be a good game, Hearts will fancy it given Rangers form and the fact they’ll be without Morelos, Kent, Halliday and Barisic, although I think hearts have a doubt over Ikpeazu? That’s a blow for them if he’s out, especially with no Naismith.

Killie still sniffing about for 2nd place but as me and Zach alluded too yesterday, I think 6 points and the GD will be enough to see Rangers finish 2nd, unless Rangers drop points tomorrow and Killie beat Hibs away.

Celtic away to St Mirren and I’ll be amazed if there’s not 5 or 6 changes, some fresh legs in there is needed and we need the big guns wrapped in cotton wool for the semi final a week on Sunday. Wouldn’t be against resting Edouard, Brown, McGregor and KT tomorrow.

That said, a win means the title could be over this weekend, we need Rangers to lose tomorrow to have a chance of winning it on Saturday but should they win then it might be decided when Rangers go to Motherwell on Sunday.

So, what’s everyone’s expectations now until season end? The league is done so for Celtic it’s about the Scottish cup and we have a semi final against Aberdeen who have been pretty p15h for a few weeks now but will likely give us a really tough game next Sunday. Aberdeen, coincidentally might need a Scottish cup win to get into Europe although it is tight between them and Killie for 3rd spot.

What about Rangers? Do you leave out the loan players from now on and turn to a few younger lads or guys who will be there next season? Or is it important the lead at the top doesn’t get any worse?

Some decent battles still on-going heading into the split, only the title is decided but the 2nd and 3rd spots are up for grabs and it’s a 3 way fight for relegation and the play off tie.

The ball is perfect for anyone who can run faster than a sloth.

It's not in his path

Edouard doesn't.need to take his third touch of the ball , he should have passed with that 3rd touch and he has the perfect angle

to be fair he probably expected that he was passing the ball to someone capable of running.

The ball is ideal to run on too, it's just that Rogic is running in 16 stone nike tiempos.
