Need to improve our away form

Our dodgy away form might cost us 3rd/4th position.

In our last 7 games, 5 are away. And amongst them are Everton, Watford, Wolves, Leicester and Burnley. All will be very tough.

I honestly doubt we will win all of them. We are just unreliable when it comes to away games against teams ready to grind out results against us, especially with loud home crowds ready to be the 12th man.

I am not confident we will take those away points. I hope I am proved wrong.

If we approach those away games like they are cup finals, we'll be ok.
We need to win 3 of our 5 away games and we'll be fine.

Everyone knows that they can get a result if they come at Arsenal when we're playing away. Any trace of defensive discipline goes out the window as soon as the team gets on a bus.

We've proven that clean sheets are clearly out of the question. Worse still, we've had games where 2 goals weren't even enough to earn a draw.

I don't care if we have to play 10 men behind the ball against Everton. Something has to change.

Emery's system has shown us that we can score against any defence, but we can't continue conceding an average of 1.93 goals whenever we play away.

Think we have won 9 away games since 2018 which is a truely shocking stat

We conceded some ridiculous goals away from home which are normally down to brain farts by our defence or someone like Xhaka passing it to the opposition.

I don't blame the majority for not backing us to get top 4 because because the away form has to suddenly improve massively for us to have any chance

Because of last season, I think our away form is a bit overstated tbh. We have lost 5, but that includes Liverpool and City, the early doors defeat to Chelsea when we could have won. The other two defeats came when we had a dip in form generally, against WHU and Southampton.
The four draws include Wembley and Old Trafford (should have won both) and Brighton in that same spell of poor form.

I guess you can look to Europa defeats to BATE and Rennes, but I personally think we will do well in our remaining 5 away games.

8 points away from home might be enough

Yup, the away form is our achilles heel, and the next 4 away games are going to be really tough against teams 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th.
We have 5 away games left and Tottenham only have 2, we are going to need a massive improvement in our away form to make top 4.
