Ryan Christie

Morning!

This guy is fast becoming one of our most important players, his energy has been missed since his injury, was great to see him back.

Couldn't believe he has 11 goals this season! Rogic will find it tough to get in the team with Christie, Brown and Calmac playing so well.

Good player management here from BR, getting him out on loan then ready for our team, I was fearful when we lost Armstrong, but this guy is just as good!

Ntcham, Rogic both top players, will be at best on bench when all are fit for me at moment.

We should be doing the same with Ewan Henderson next season, get him a good team to take him on loan!

I think he's better than Stu, more dynamic and positive.
But Armstrong leaves him eating dust innthe hairdo stakes, fkn Broony has a better do than him, wtf is going on with that fringe?

Always liked Christie and to think there were some on here not that long ago (you know who you are!) decrying him because 'he wasn't Celtic class'. Nyaffs.

Always been a fan, been watching him play since he was a wee bairn. Always stood out due to his old man, but you could see he was a good player early doors.

My only doubt was if he could handle the physical side of the game, which he's starting to prove he can

Hmm.

To be fair, he was relatively mediocre during his loan spell at Aberdeen and was generally perceived as being on the periphery of things.

He did nothing during that spell, or indeed his time at Celtic before that, to suggest he was capable of becoming an important first team player.

I would suggest that anyone who is going to try to claim that they saw this coming and at the start of the season considered him as an important first team player is, as they say, at it.

You've tagged this on the premier League

Probably why not many have seen it

Christie has been one of this seasons highs tbh

Fabulous workrate and commitment

I honestly didn’t see Christie transforming into the player he is today. I had him as a Nail McGinn type who was good but not good enough. Delighted to be proved wrong on this 👍

McGregor and Christie compliment each other. With those two playing together we have a right good chance of three points every game.

Always on the move - himself & McGregor are the energy of this side......I think he will be even better next season as improving year on year - pleasing!

He put a bit meat on his bones as well, sure I read KT say he and Ryan often stayed after training at the weights room 👍
