Bolton Wanderers v Ipswich Town

Its on. Been on, off, on, off, on. Been a very stressful week for us all. I certainly feel drained as I presume everyone else does. To sum up. Saturday beat QPR 2-1. Monday. Players announce they are going on strike in support of unpaid staff. Tuesday. Safety certificate withdrawn. Home games v Ipswich and Middlesbrough off. Speculation in the beano and radio Manchester that gaspard holdings are to takeover kens shares. Wednesday. Court. Kind judge gives another extension to 8th may. Real next possible owner Laurence bassini spotted in court. Thursday. Staff paid, Ipswich and Middlesbrough games back on, players back in training but call in the pfa and efl to intervene as they remain unpaid. Friday. Bassini spouts off on talksport that he will get Bolton back to the premier league in 2/3 years. Just when you thought it was safe an it issue meant the club couldn't sell tickets and today's match off. Saturday. Match on. Everyone exhausted. Has anyone got anything left for what could be a battle for the wooden spoon? Incredibly there is a worse team than Bolton, Ipswich currently 8 points behind Bolton bottom of the league. For the eternal optimists a win today and against Middlesbrough if other results go our way could be out of the bottom 3 on Tuesday night. We live to dream. Team news. Wildschut and Lowe long term injuries. With everything else going on heard nothing else. A small hint for parky. DON'T CHANGE A WINNING SIDE.

Nobody ever did like Mondays did they.
Well not unless they palmed a football club onto somebody else or does anybody get paid on a Monday I can't think of any other reasons to like Mondays can you ?

Donaldson was there you could tell it was him stood in the corner wearing the hat with a big D on it.
I think he won the best clearance for the opposition award.

Did you make your own packed lunch today or did you pop into the bakery on the way to work

No news on the takeover front. Is there really a prospective buyer or is Ken in fantasy land?

I suppose there must be some evidence of a buyer for the judge to grant us extra time. At this rate, the season will be finished before any possible deal will be done. It's all getting rather tedious now.

I missed the game on Saturday due to my son wanting me to help sort his garden. We spent Friday Saturday and Sunday digging footings for walls to create planters. Backbreaking work when you're a month away from your 71st birthday. However, there was a bright side to the grafting, at least I missed another woeful game.

You should've ask Parky to help out, he may need some tips.

Tuesday - Not another match day
After spending weeks bashing nails into the relegation coffin tonight we put the brass handles on leaving the way clear to fetch a nice brass plaque from Derby on Saturday.
Anybody with a stomach bug will bypass the bingo machine and go straight into the team don't forget to bring your own energy bars drinks and half time snacks.

Something is going on behind closed doors .
Everybody and everything is silent even the band have given up not knowing if they are to play as the ship goes down or practice a fanfare.
Where's Ken with another note when you need him.

If only we could get a new owner, we wouldn't need to place him on gardening leave.

There is certainly a lack of news. Time has stood still, the doctor must have pulled the plug on the Tardis. I wondered what that red telephone box was doing at the side of the lodge.
