Derby County 4 - 0 Bolton Wanderers

Pride Park
Derby
1500

Sat 13 April

After the.......well, we've been here before - utterly lame, pathetic, wretched, soul- sapping performance on Tuesday, we play a team that is essentially relegated and need to win to have an atom of a chance of a (very) unlikely survival.

Derby may just have lost the chance to make the play-offs - at least I'll save money - but on paper we're a good team and we always seem to come to this.

I'm not lying when I say that the performance on Tuesday stretched the incredulity of the most stoic, loyal brethren and sistren of the Derby Faithful. It was not good and I was cross.

Changes are expected but what/who/where? At least our players get paid when they are crap, Bolton players and staff have still not been paid for March.

We have a good record at home against Bolton - we last lost to them in 1981 at the BBG. And yet they are looking to the double over us for this season!!!!!

And when I talk changes, did you know that we have lost all our league matches when Ashley Cole has started?

Where's Anya?
Where's Marriot?
Where's Spart ?

Team news:-

Roos, Bryson, Tomori, Keogh, Wilson, Mount, Waghorn, Lawrence, Johnson, Cole, Bogle.

Substitutes: Carson, Wisdom, Huddlestone, Bird, Bennett, Marriott, Jozefzoon.

It was Hampshire Scouse and Hampshire man John Arlott was disgusted that Hampshire won the Sunday league at such a one horse town.

Serves him right, he was probably upset because he couldn't get the champagne brand he wanted anywhere local?

I see he got through wives as quick as he did bottles of wine, (married three times).

I don't think three bottles of wine is particularly excessive but then I'm Scottish...........

'Plastic' Scottish surely?

John Arlott was rural Hampshire with a distinct accent. Not like the public school boys such as Peter West, Jim Swanton and Jonners.

Not really Scouse. Lived here for 40 years or so, 20 of which were in a Highland regiment so not much left, apart for the Rams of course

20 years service Heb, impressive!

I've lived in Liverpool 20 years in July and I still don't have the accent (thank god)!
