I am surprised his absence in last nights match has not been highlighted enough. I know its easy to say in hindsight but I am convinced the Son second goal doesnt happen if he plays.
He is the only City player who senses danger and is their best defensive player. Gundogan has done well but he is not the same player. I am not sure why he didnt start but his absence resulted in the lack of control in the match.
I thought De Bruyne turned up big time and was my man of the match in an absorbing game. For me he is they key in the last few matches in the title race. Mendy also looked fit and likes to spread it about which is not surprising as he played under Biesla. He could be key in the title race as will Kompany.
Having watched Aguero on Sunday I though Jesus should have started. i have no idea why David Silva started but I guess Pep is trying to play him into form. Sane was a difficult call as Bernardo and Sterling were outstanding.
He cant have an complaints although I think he could be slotted in if Bernardo is moved to CM and David Silva gets a rest because its just not happening for him.
It will be interesting what happens on Saturday but a morning kickoff with the sense of revenge should see them win on Saturday.I actually think they could carry the sense of injustice into the United match as-well. Its the complacency that could kill City in the last 3 matches unless Liverpool drop points first.

I think if you read up you will note that the handball is a point of contention. Whether rightly or wrongly it is all the motivation they need. No gurantees though
