Hypocritical media..

All we have heard from the mainstream media since the CL game with city, is sympathy for being hard done by. The Fernando Llorente ‘handball’ - which this season by the rules is legal. Further that the offside was harsh.

Yet not a mention of Walkers deliberate handball. Which could potentially decide the title. It’s seems when we win an unexpected game the opposition played poor. And when we get beat, we haven’t the squad to compete at the top levels.

If I am honest though it’s because the bulk of the main stream football media are from the old sky 4 traditions. They are just anti spurs - pains them to say a club operate within it limits and still rattle it amoungst the clubs that have hundreds of millions of pounds to spend on FB’s.

So, proven that players don't know they've been fouled.

On a slightly separate note, here's another section of the Niasse report that backs up my interpretation of the laws:

To the minds of the Commission members the movements of Mr Niasse’s
body, in particular the arching of the back and the collapsing of both legs,
were simply not consistent with the amount of force exerted upon him by
Mr Dann and in exaggerating the effect of the contact made between
himself and Mr Dann, Mr Niasse deceived the referee and this led to a
penalty being awarded by the referee.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have never argued against this so I'm not sure of the relevance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The relevance is the link to players who exaggerate contact being guilty of simulation.

My interpretation is logical and this sort of comment backs it up.

A player knows he has been fouled even if he hasn't been fouled.

"Whether it was deemed a foul by the referee or not doesn't mean it was or wasn't a foul."

Yes it does. It's the referee's decision and no one elses. Yes referees can make a mistake but you already accepted a scenario where the player thinks he has been fouled but the referee doesn't (and the ref hasn't made a mistake).

So I'll ask again: how can the player 'know' he's been fouled if it's not deemed a foul?

Answer: he can't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So he knows he was fouled but he wasn't.

In that scenario, that's what you're saying.

Just admit it TOOR - I've proven you wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What? No. Shall I say it again?

That is what you have said.

Yes.

Go for it. I'll keep laughing.

Remember the scenario, TOOR.

Referee thinks it's not a foul, player thinks it's a foul.
