After Liverpool's heroics in the Champions League semi final second leg last night where Liverpool overturned a 3-0 first leg defeat by winning 4-0 and progressing to the second consecutive Champions League final.
A group of Liverpool fans in a defiant act of brinkmanship have gone to their well worn route of starting a petition. It is the view of these fans that they must do whatever it takes to have the final moved within the borders of Germany and have citied Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena as the perfect venue to host the final on June 1st.
Speaking to their local media outlet The Surrey Standard earlier this afternoon the petitions founder said "We sat down with the supporters group this morning, their was a good turn up almost all of us were in our full kits, a couple of the lads forgot to don their shinnies. We suggested maybe hosting at Anfield but I think that would have been too much of a stretch, Munich seems the perfect venue."
The petition has been opened on Change.org which is a favourite among Liverpool's fanbase.
