CL final ballot

Hi guys,

We have 3 hospitality season tickets and one has been successful in the ballot draw.

Can someone clarify what this means:

"Supporters can purchase one ticket per qualifying supporter for up to a maximum of EIGHT tickets per transaction"

Is that we can only get 1 ticket, or the successful application can get up to eight tickets? I imagine it's the first of the two...

Surprised how easy it is to qualify for final tickets.

Any season ticket holder, member or fan card holder who attended 7 Champions League games (say 6 homes and just one away) gets a ticket.

If you attended the six home CL games then you entered a ballot with a 4:1 chance of success

Really weird way of doing it, our way is a lot fairer. When do the scousers find out if they were successful?

How does your system work?

I think if you are a season ticket holder and done all the home CL games and one away, you should get a ticket. Attending an away was a prerequisite for us in 2012, effectively.

Seems weird that members and fan card holders who have attended six home CL games can apply for the ballot even if they haven't attended an away European; and they aren't season ticket holders

Season Ticket holders with certain amounts of Loyalty Points are given certain windows to apply within, and the number of required Loyalty Points gets lower and lower until they’re sold out. So in this instance, people with 209+ points were able to buy one, those with between 250 & 300 getting first dibs, and then those with 209 - 249 going second. there are still some left, so tomorrow those with between 188 - 208 can get one. It doesn’t matter what games you attended to gain the Loyalty Points.

So to get 188, how many European and Carling games do you need to attend?

RKW..

It means that you can get to buy one ticket

Of course if you had friends and family that also qualified you could buy upto 8 in one transaction.

That's the thing though - the other tickets we have also qualify as per the criteria but these were unsuccessful in the ballot. Is that why we were denied the chance of getting 3 tickets this morning?

yup.

all 4 tickets would qualify to be entered into the ballot. 1 was successful = 1 ticket.
the chances were 4.1:1 so I guess that vindicated it.

If you had 10 ballot entries and all were successful, you could only purchase 8 at a time.
