Gareth Bale

What has he done to pee Zidane off so much?

He was denied a potential farewell appearance today with Zidane saying: “’If I had a fourth substitute I would not have brought him on." Btw, Madrid lost 2-0 at home to Betis.

He must have banged his wife or daughter or something like that.

But Bale doesn't look like he's going anywhere soon though. He's reported to have said,
“I have 3 years left on my contract, if they want me to leave they need to pay 17 million net per season, and if not I’m staying here, and if I have to play golf, I will play." Ouch!

And that right there is why we do not sign Bale.

I have no time for people like him what so ever. There are very few (I would like to think) who would rather take the money than actually play.

But if you apply a bit if real world to it, if you were employed for your vast skills and then completely sidelined by the new boss, ruining your career at the highest level, you might feel somewhat aggrieved and wish to take the employers for everything they have to give you more freedom in deciding where to go next (which will inevitably be a downwards move)

Calling me thick and not knowing the difference between your and you're in the same sentence just about sums you up.

One of the most common errors in written English is your refuge? This means you have nothing worthwhile to say.

I had a dump this morning. I looked back after I was done and what I saw there is what sums you up.

Real world comparisons rarely work alongside football. In 99% of the cases in the real world, and using your analogy, careers wouldn't have such a limited life span. Bale has 4 years left at the top. If he isn't fussed about playing then he should sit back and take their cash. I think the point is that if he did want to do that, would any fan actually want him at their club?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He obviously wants to play but life is more than just football and foregoing £600k a week would be a stupid move especially when it suits Madrid only.

It doesn't mean that he doesn't want to play and wouldn't be committed to playing if a team bought him. That doesn't make sense

He wants to play for Madrid and is easily one of their best players.

Madrid want him gone because they gave him too lucrative a contract, they should pay him up so he can leave on a free if they want him gone so badly rather than trying to make life miserable for him.

..............

A point that seems to have gone way over a few peoples heads.

If Chelsea can get this transfer ban delayed, I could see Hazard going to Real with Bale coming the other way - possibly on loan for a few seasons.
