Ach well. We had a good run.

Just had a wee look on Ibrox Noise there....always good for a laugh.

Now I have to say that I hate that wee clown James Forrest and that the much maligned Phil is a sandwich short of a picnic, but the ibrox Noise lads take the biscuit.

I was sad to see Celtic's problems so brutally exposed.

Apparently Benitez, Moyes and others all refused the Celtic job as they have been told that there is no money. The reason that Lennon hasn't accepted yet, and may not, is that he has been told that there is no money as the club expect to have to fork out £60m to £80m and the courts are about to come calling...in connection with certain legal matters.

Ach well. All good things must come to an end.

your credibility is in tatters.

as will be celtics if they continue with this "wisnae us" approach.

i get the difference, and i think it unfair that the modern day celtic have to deal with the actions of individuals in the past.

legal minefield, but for me its something the club could do a lot better.

I can't disagree with you there mate and it is a serious subject.

Just for clarity however; successful child abuse cases resulting in financial "compensation" have recently resulted in disgracefully low payments being made.

£10,000 per case appears to be the flat rate. Add in legal fees and you could argue £15,000 per child. Those were for children abused in care which some might argue are worse.

So to suggest millions of pounds is just ridiculous in the extreme. That would at current rates account for something like 67 successful cases for every £1m.

Kids in care for not have the same media attention though.

https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12430399.11-more-kerelaw-staff-charged-with-abusing-children/

In fact at kerelaw I know many kids who were not even interviewed regarding it.

Easy to sweep all that under the carpet when most of these kids have no voice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The whole subject matter across the UK is a stain on our status as a caring society.
