Tavs

The rumours linking Tavs with a few English teams wont go away. Fresh reports today about Villa. As much as I like Tavs now might be the time to sell.

Whatever anyone says about his defensive qualities (he isn't the best but his supposed defensive shortcomings are way over stated IMO) he has been an absolutely cracking signing for us at £200k.

I would be reluctant to see him go but if we could get in the region of £7m for him then it would give us the funds we need to add a couple of better quality players to the team.

I would rather sell Morelos but with his chips still reeking of his own pash after the Celtic game I suspect we would toil to get £10m for him this summer.

We have plenty of wingers on the books for next season so we shouldn't be reliant on a FB for assists. Plus we already have Flanagan in there at least as cover so if we were to offload Tavs now is probably not a terrible time.
