3 of the 4 goals in that match were caused by pisssing around at the back, trying to play out , no matter what

it's crazy how teams are willing to risk giving goals away for free, for the sake of not getting rid when it gets too risky

Agree! I don't understand all this fancy back and forth passing inside the penalty area. Maybe this game will be a wake-up call for all club managers to address the issue with their players? In the meantime, opposing players are beginning to watch for it.

I have noticed that little things seem to get under your skin, you need to get some rest.

As far as the ridiculous comment about "second string (I assume you mean "reserve" England XI", a normal fan might as the question why was this the case. Are you saying that Southgate deliberately fielded a weak team???? Maybe even ask why was Harry Kane out there while he still appears to be not fully fit? Are you saying that England was not taking this game seriously? Remember, as one of the commentators pointed out, England has not won a trophy (cup) since 1966!

I am sure England fans were questioning the team selection, but the reason was clear to any with knowledge of football.
He left out all the Liverpool and Spurs players because he didnt think they were ready so soon after the CL final, arriving days later than the rest of the squad.
Kane was out there because Rashford was injured just before half time.
England were taking the game seriously, hence why Southgate did not gamble on the CL players, instead using players he had all week.

Actually, a lot of non English countries call it Football.

I've traveled in Asia such as India, Korea, Japan, China, Cambodia, etc. Both Football and soccer is used. Where I am currently, Football is more common. In Korea, both, due to the influence of the Americans. But American football is referred to as American football as it causes confusion amongst the people who know a bit of English.

Soccer is also a British term, but one thought up by the posh lot. It was an informer name, such as Ruggers for Rugby. The term only came about due to other forms of "football" being in place all over England, and Association Football was when a unified set of rules were formed. Previously the home team would decide to play by their local rules.
