Sessegnon

No quotes, so pinch of salt, but looks promising.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jun/07/ryan-sessegnon-not-renew-fulham-wants-tottenham-move

Condensed summary: Sessegnon wont sign new deal at Fulham, wants move to Spurs, favours working with Pochettino. Fulham want £45m. We’re valuing near £25m (apparently).

Personally, I’ve always had a feeling this one will go ahead. Just feel club and player fit. £25m - £35m feels reasonable for the potential that’s there. Would like to see him further up the pitch rather than direct competition for Rose.

Would be happy with signing, so long as he is one of several - with the others boasting more experience than potential.

the boy has got potential no doubt

fulham were a mess last season so don't write him off because of that

by all accounts he wants the move and only has a year left on his contract so fulham are in a spot

by all accounts he wants to stay in london

Why would Levy pay 28m if he could get him for 27m?

£30m for him and his brother. Leave his brother there for the season and maybe send them Roles

Really not fussed about him, but if Poch wants him and can convert him into a left back then hope we get him.

Levy can certainly use leverage on this one. If he wants to come to us and won't sign a contract I can not imagine he will go for more than £25m. I doubt he is a high priority signing so we are in a strong negotiating position.

I’d honestly go as high as the £45m. I just think that’s the market. We paid £42m for DS - id never seen him kick a ball.

I’m not claiming Sessegnon is a world beater, but I think there is enough there for him to become a regular England international.

Reckon we’ll be kicking ourselves in a few years if we miss out.
