Give him parity, if we don't go up then sell him to move the wages off the book would be what I'd do

Parity with whom?

He is a defensive midfielder and should be valued and compensated as one of the best in this league, but is not comparable to other positions, e.g., strikers.

Maybe in the absolute high echelons of football strikers and keepers seem to be paid that extra bit more.

However we are not there, also Phillips is our best player, therefore give him parity. We certainly could not afford to pay him more!

Big fan of KP but surely Pablo has been our star turn?

Yes BUT he only has a year left in him or so, whereas Phillips will still be worth a very decent amount in a couple of years.

Not sure he has a full 30 plus games left to be absolutely fair and that is a massive concern.

Sitting on my hands on Sunday, I was getting very agitated at 3-0 up that he wasn't the very first player taken off. For him not to be taken off at all is a bloody joke.

3-0 up he doesn't need to be anywhere near the pitch!

I think the management of Pablo will have a lot of sway on how well we do.

I did enjoy his double nutmeg, it was a thing of joy.

Great Phillips is staying, seems he's doing what McAllister did, seeing which way the club wants to go!..

He should get the money others are on because he's one off the main players, but, it seems the way things are he won't get it unless we are promoted!..

Having said that, even promotion doesn't guarantee anything!..

He's Leeds and you know he likes it like that, with him staying maybe he thinks promotion is on the cards!..

Not going up this season is NOt an option.
