Atrocious in the first half but much much better in the second. Very happy for James he got his goal - weirdly haven’t smiled as much in ages. Maguire was a colossus - probably gonna be smoothed over but his tackle to start the move for the second goal might just have been one of the main components to our win.
AWB was excellent and it actually looks like our right back position is sewn up for the next 10 years.
Rash was very good and probably should play on the wing as he is going to get back and protect Shaw while I don’t think Martial will. Still not convinced at Martial as a 9 but he got his goal and I suppose time will tell.
Our midfield was poor when the game was even but once Chelsea started chasing it they were a bit better - be interesting to see how it does at Wolves.
Anyway, great start to the season. I’m an Ole doubter but little bits of doubt are being chipped away which can only be good news to you all 😂
Plus we’re ahead of Liverpool in the table 👊🏻

Actually thought the same. Great having a CB who can win possession and then set us under attack right away. Normally we’d see the ball recycled between the other defenders and keeper.

Agreed Rosso. Those 3 could give us a solid defensive base to work with. The midfield needs tweaking from what we saw in the first half, but they all played well.

We were not atrocious in the fist half. Just a bit off the pace for the first 15.
Bloody good result that. Good to see the Stretford End taking the pee out of Jose at the end.

Patchy yes, started poorly, good spell after the goal and fell away again... Chelsea were patchy too
From the second goal on we were different class tho
Maguire was pretty much faultless, Pogba second half was excellent
4-0 against Chelsea tho... You take that all day
