Klich and Pablo

I felt last season that both lost their way a bit.

Klich started the season so well but really tailed off after Christmas. Pablo waa incredible but the last month looked shot.

Both are critical players in Bielsa's system. Both have started the eseason brilliantly. Clearly both have benefited from time off to recover in the off season.

If we manage their game time well enough to avoid burn out, these two could be the key as to whether we go up.

How we do that I am unsure. Only logical suggestion is others step up. There js certainly enough depth there to suggest so.

I think in Klich's case in particular the schedule last year was relentless with him playing nearly every game and then going away with Poland and playing 2 games on each international break.

With Hernandez we have run him into the ground in previous seasons and it is essential that we manage that better this season.it sounds as though Bielsa recognized that after the Derby defeat so hopefully it is addressed.

Poland got 2 qualifiers in Sept, Oct and Nov so will be same this season!

I think most of the squad fell away.

I remember stating this last season, we played Klich and Pablo into the ground last time mainly because we had no alternative playmaker or AM. I hope we have learned the lesson and try to give these 2 a rest now and then

Wasn't it Heckingbottom who exiled Klich to Holland?
Or was that TC?

My recollection is it was TC.

Need more rotation for sure.

This season we have Roberts and Clarke from the bench who can replace Pablo.

Klich can be replaced with Shackleton.

Squad is thin after a few injuries and will need some very astute management to be effective. That and some luck.

Klich was very critical of the TC regime when he couldn't get in the side despite poor form/performances from the likes of Okane. Klich was injured in pre season hence why he fell behind.

It was amazing that Klich who I believe was already a Polish international when we signed him could not get in the side ahead of the likes of O'Kane. He wasn't given a fair chance by previous managers but Bielsa obviously saw his potential and has picked him for every game since he has been in charge.
My hope is he and Pablo are kept fresh for the latter part of the season are are not left "running on empty" after January like last term

Roberts getting back is going to be important as is using jame shack

Those two are, in my opinion, the answer to this problem

The more we use them the better

Did someone just say clarke off the bench to replace Pablo....🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Robert's imo will have a stellar season. The lad has talent and I can really see him and Costa causing issue this season should they play in the same side. Both direct players, with trickery and that bit of agility which leaves players for dead.
