Really? Most Wednesday fans (me included) are a little underwhelmed. Probably because we were linked with the Cowley brothers and we thought that appointment may be exciting and they might have a real go at it. Just feels like another yes man and another mid table finish

Monk is a mixed bag, plenty of potential but he's become a bit of a championship nearly man. Nearly got Leeds up, nearly did well at Boro and Birmingham. He's due a better spell.

Poor move from the Cowley brothers, Hudders are an awful team that could go down. Lincoln were doing so well, though were losing a few games lately- still I think the brothers should have stayed where they were.

My boss is a Lincoln city season ticket holder and is gutted.... perspective!...i work in Lincoln quite a bit...the ground is a complete sh!thole and can fit in just under 10k... they can only ever hope to reach the championship and survive with the resources they have..a bit like Rotherham..... they had taken them as far as they could

We have a realistic chance of challenging again for Honours in this division... albeit probably next season and i can fully understand them being excited at what they may achieve

Also we will abandone this tippy tappy sheite football and may even see 2 men up front 👍

Also being the manager rather than head coach means he will decide which players we bring in and not left to the director of football.... never understood how a non manager or coach could decide who we bring in?

They are working with the council to develop a new, Bette and bigger stadium. It’s a club going places under good ownership.

They were offered comparatively huge money and, understandably, took it with both arms.

I think it’s a good move, even a mate I do business with and is a town ST holder and who has been under the Samaritans since Xmas is fairly happy, he says there’s some decent players at the club but has been a stench round the club for a long time and needs getting rid of,
