So, here we are.

Five games, fifteen points, so far so good. City dropping points Norwich yesterday, even better. Three points, or there abouts, separating more than a dozen teams, all at least seven points behind us.

Time for predictions? Oh do grow up. Our front three, for me especially Bobby, are irreplaceable. Going back to KK and Tosh, Kenny and Rush, Fowler, Torres, Suarez, the lot, this current front attacking force is better.

Mane aside last season, no major injuries. The identification, research, purchasing power of the club seems to be second to none. We've done it before, we can do it again, a la KK being replaced by The King, but replacement of the current front three will take some, if not impossible beating.

LFC have returned, quite properly in my view, to letting absolutely nothing out of the bag until a player is paraded, red shirt on, Anfield etc, signed sealed delivered.

But where do we go to find players asgood as, if not better than Mo, Sadio and Bobby?

Solutions, on a postage stamp, please.

Replacing Keegan with Dalglish...the guy my Rangers team let go.

Worse than Chelsea letting de bruyne go.πŸ€”

I don't think king Kenny was really let go by rangers. i believe he supported the team as a lad but was never on their books. i recall some annual or other outlining how he ripped all the posters off his walls when he signed for Celtic as a kid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I heard he was a bluenose, was on Rangers books but deemed not good enough by our coaching staff.

Who had some radical dope that week.πŸ‘ΎπŸ‘ΎπŸ˜†πŸ˜†

i couldn't tell you if he was on schoolboy forms.

he was in Glasgow schoolboy teams etc and signed by Celtic in 1967. he failed a trial at Liverpool in 1966......

i dont know if any autobiography or rangers history could shed light on it. I'd assume Celtic have washed all the blue off his profile

Obviously Kenny wasn't as good as Bobby, Dennis or George ( just a hint of bias ) but I thought he was a true great. I actually cannot really rank players, I don't know if anyone can, they have different attributes, but he was a star.

Liverpool have made a good start, but they have also had a very easy fixture list. They couldn't have hand picked their opening five games.

Dalglish, allegedly a Rangers fan, never played for them, he was Celtic from start to finish. He went South, played one or two games as a trialist for LFC, and was sent home. He was moved out to Cowdenbeath by Celtic and then returned to Celtic where he progressed.

The word round the campfire is that one night, at a Celtic supporters club meeting, Stein told him he was signing for LFC.

And the rest, they say, is history.

How accurate that tale is, I don't know, but that's what I've been told.

We’ll both LFC and Spurs have played Arsenal and Newcastle. Liverpool took 6 points and Spurs 1.

In fact apart from Tottenham having played two top six teams rather than one I would say the fixtures for LFC City and Spurs are pretty much equivalent.

LFC: Norwich Southampton Arsenal Burnley Newcastle
Spurs : Villa City Newcastle Arsenal Palace
City: West Ham Spurs Bournemouth Brighton Norwich

Anyhow we’ll find out soon enough as we’ll be playing the rest of the top 6 over the next month or so.

Such an easy start. I mean it’s pretty much nailed on that we’d get 6 points against the likes of arsenal and Newcastle.

I wonder how spurs would do if they got to play such easy teams in their first few games.

Oh. Hmmm. Well this is awkward
