Bojo and Trump

Bojo losing the plot and blustering aggressively when he is under scrutiny and on the back foot.

So similar to Trump. No wonder they have a bromance 😂

It’s an opinion backed up by plenty of evidence. It’s not just a case of everyone being able to move on anyway. But I suspect you’re not willing to listen so I’ll leave it at that.

The list of spurious outbursts are gathering space in a desperate attempt to railroad a No Deal Brexit through.

The people voted for it so we must get on with it.
Eh? Folk did not vote for a No Deal Brexit.

The public are sick of the delay we should just get on with it.
Eh, the public are sick of the lies and political bullying that is the fact of the matter.

It’s what Jo would have wanted so we must get it done.
Eh, no. Her husband has decried this type of political pash.

Bojo is on a skewer and he knows it so is doing what all bullies do, shouting louder and trying to force things.
He will soon be consigned to the trash bin where he belongs.

Turok,
No, i'm afraid, Bernie would be very far from a shoo in if he were the nominee , too far to the left.
Magnum,
It's been years since I've been to Wisconsin , and i live in, bluefish New England. However i travel to the rust belt states Trump carried , as well as Florida . Even if you take the cheeseheads out of the equation, the electoral college math will do for Mr. Long Tie.
I did indeed , notice that " being a thrice bankrupt draft dodger " didn't stop him last time . Pick your political cliche re a day being an eternity etc. , but it's four years hence !Those issues will, play a part this time out , particularly if the pride of Hawaii , Ms. Gabbard faces him onstage .
" He will slaughter the hapless Biden " Absolute nonsense , it won't be a landslide either way, but Biden would shade it. Have you paid any attention to mid-terms etc. since Nov. 16 ? Polls ?
You're right , Trump did exploit a large swath of Obamas base , but we're back to that 4 years thing again .
"As for impeachment.. no chance ". The Dems. have been doing the political math for a while , they've correctly, kept their eyes on the 2020 prize . Until now, the impeachment route would have solidified their base, but gaining among independents , probably not the best choice . Besides which, they haven't had the numbers in the Senate, that's how impeachment works.
Aloha !

Biden? Sorry, but he can't remember his own name most of the time. Was it the 1st time he ran he plagiarized Neil Kinnock's speech?
That aside I don't think he has the mental acuity to even win the Dem ticket.

I'm paying almost no attention to mid terms and none at all to polls.

Trump is a guilty pleasure for many...they will vote for him but don't like to admit.

The people who voted for him will be relatively pleased with how he has done.

Those who didnt are probably surprised that he has lasted as long as he has. I'm totally anti the guy to be clear but he has probably done better than his supporters and opponents would have imagined.

He, along with the tories here, has succeeded in making the ridiculous the new norm. When you've done that you can get away with almost anything.

As long as he doesn't burn the flag on the White House lawn he'll win.

Only a powerhouse populist Democrat could beat him and they dont have one. Bill Clintion and Obama could both take him on but none of the current crop.

We'll have to disagree on this. I see no reason to think that he will do worse than last time.

So the people you have spoken to?

Quebec,
no doubt Biden is in his golden years , and hold the presses , all candidates have speech writers who get lazy/sloppy and downright naughty . Doesn't take anything from the fact that he's a firm favorite , presently, based on multiple, polls.
Mental acuity you say ? Good thing that that concentration camp liberator with an acuity deficit didn't romp home, twice, apart from this here Bay State .
W would guess that it's something to do with pool if you sprang that term on him. Again, two terms.
Warren scares independents with talk of slavery reparations etc. .
I'd like Bill Weld from G.O.P. , pipe dream i know.
Ideally i'd like Tulsi Gabbard holding her hand up on a frigid January D.C. morning .
Oh, and how about them Bruins .

Not sure what your point is.

Theres plenty of other sources of information. But I do spend a lot of time in the US and I do talk to a lot of people there.
