Arsenal get correct decision at OT

Took VAR to do it though

Otherwise same old same old
Pepe has still not impressed me
Xhaka - Why is he even in the team let alone be
captain.
Starting line up - Tierney should be in it

At least we got a point at a place where we normally do very badly

Was that the first time in our entire history that something like that has gone our way at Old Trafford ?

Players voted for him to be their captain. What exactly you dont understand?

Issue here is yes he was clearly on side but the ref blew his whistle and stopped play before the goal was scored so effectively play was dead, VAR should not have been able to intervene, totally inept officiating at all levels on this one

Totally untrue. The ref only blew his whistle AFTER the ball hit the back of the net. Sky Sports replayed that very incident. Brilliantly handled by both the ref and VAR. The lino is a stupid, drunken idiot who couldn't see Maguire playing Auba onside when Maguire was right in front of him. Shocking. I hope the lino gets demoted.

Read Aubas own words he said after the match he heard the ref blow the whistle but still went on and put the ball in the net

He mentioned the fans noise, not the ref blowing the whistle. In any event, the truth is the ref didn't blow the whistle until after Auba scored so what anybody says is totally irrelevant.

the lino fecked up by flagging, but var sorted it.

wasn't that the whole point of it?

I've no issue with the goal being awarded. I'm more annoyed at the linesman for such a poor decision in the first place. He must have though Auba was miles offside to raise his flag there.

Agree! Terrible decision from a "premier" league official. No one is perfect, however, this was not even close to being off-side. Even the announcers complained about the call! Maybe he needs to spend some time in a lower division?

Re-play clearly showed the referee blew his whistle AFTER the goal! Announcers looked at the situation a couple of times and agreed.
Auba , as are all players, are told to finish the play. He did not say what you claim that he said. Even the Man. U. whiners did not argue the decision.
